Expedition Air Rangers
The Expedition Air Rangers program targets high school age young men. In addition to the Air Rangers aviation study program, the Expedition core curriculum, the Spirit Challenge lessons, is the cornerstone of the program giving main attnetion to keeping a Christian perspective and assisting in preparing young men for adulthood. The Expedition Air Rangers program welcomes interested commanders, parents, and aviation professionals who wish to assist. RC (Remote Controlled aircraft) is an alternative program to the more traditional fixed-wing or rotorcraft education and can be used in any locality.
The Air Rangers advancements are designed to train and direct the young man in his pursuit of either a Private Pilot Rating or involvement in the field of Remote Control (RC) aircraft flight and competition. After an Air Ranger passes a written exam from the FAA, and then desires training toward a Private Pilot Ratin, it is then the responsibility of the Air Ranger and his parents to pursue private flight instruction.
