Spirit Challenge
The biblical foundation of the Expedition rangers meeting is the Spirit Challenge. Each lesson is designed to be completed during the group meeting. However, it may be necessary to use time in two successive meetings to complete the lesson.
After the Ranger has successfullly completed the Spirit Challenge lesson, his commander will check the box on the chart at the end of the Expedition Rangers Handbook. Upon completion of the required number of Spirit Challenge lessons for hte advancement step, the commander fills in the date and writes his initials.

The green Spirit Challenge patch is earned after completing twenty-five lessons. |

The blue Spirit Challenge patch is earned after completing an additional twenty-five lessons for a total of fifty. |

The red Spirit Challenge patch is earned after completing an additional twenty-five lessons for a total of seventy-five. |
|
The bronze Spirit Challenge patch is earned after completing an additional twenty-five lessons for a total of one hundred. |
|
The silver Spirit Challenge patch is earned after completing an additional twenty-five lessons for a total of 125. |
|
The gold Spirit Challenge patch is earned after completing an additional twenty-five lessons for a total of 150. |
