What Are You Doing Today?
Yesterday is often the most used word I hear when speaking to seniors. Yesterday I was involved in this…yesterday I used to do that…yesterday was a time when I could always be counted on to be of service. However, I want to strongly assure you that you are a valuable person to the church TODAY!

Ministry |
M.A.P.S.
From coast to cosamast and border to border, RV volunteers are answering the call for help, utilizing their God-given skills and talents to help build the kingdom of God. Some give a few weeks, some a few months, and some full time; but all are passionate about serving.
Profiles of Faith
Vernon and Martha Pettenger - Vernon and Martha Pettenger were both born in South Africa and later served as missionaries there from 1950 to 1992. Vernon’s parents were American missionaries to South Africa from 1921 until 1965. Vernon wanted to be an engineer and worked in the gold mines for more than six years. During this time, he met Martha in a small British Pentecostal church.
Favorite Hymns
Be Still My Soul - Katharina von Schlegel was the outstanding woman of the Pietistic Revival in Germany which occurred in the latter half of the seventeenth century. In approximately 1852, the hymn was translated into English by Jane Borthwick. The hymn tune is an arrangement of one movement from Jean Sibelius’ “Finlandia.”
Senders Fund
The Assemblies of God World Missions family is thrilled and deeply grateful that Senior Adult Ministries is committed to helping Senders Fund—our most needy missions project!
