Marshall Bruner
Marshall Bruner serves as the national E-LIFE coordinator for the national Children's Ministries Agency. He oversees and conducts E-LIFE, outreach and compassion ministries, conducts kids' crusades and district kids' camps, trains children's leaders nationwide, and coordinates national children's ministry training events.
"I have a vision," says Marshall. "It's to challenge children across the nation to be the new generation of E-LIFE missionaries. I wish I could personally pour this vision directly into the hearts of children, which I can do only as a children's pastor in the local church. However, if I can challenge children's leaders to train and prepare their students to be E-LIFE Kids, then I know God's Spirit will call children nationwide to live out their faith in their schools and communities."
Marshall joined the CMA team in January 2003, following 10 years of ministry at the national Royal Rangers department as the outreach ministries coordinator. He has also served as church ministries pastor and children's pastor at three Assemblies of God churches and has been in children's ministries for over 17 years.
Since 1993, Marshall has traveled nationwide to the urban areas of many major cities, conducting outreach events and train leaders for outreach ministry.
"Over the years, the Lord has enabled me to conduct outreach events nationwide, and my passion is to minister to at-risk children and to teach leaders how to strengthen their local outreach ministries," Marshall says. "Whether I'm ministering to children or teaching leaders the various children's ministry skills, I feel blessed by God to be used by Him 'for such a time as this.'"
Marshall adds, "I thoroughly enjoy the ministry of kids' camps and crusades. I combine the cutting-edge, multi-media presentation with the familiar and successful applications of illustrated sermons, drama, gospel illusions, and Bible storytelling using a dramatic ventriloquism approach."
Marshall and his wife, Jan, have been married 26 years. They have two children: Meagan and Micah. Jan has been in children's ministry for over 20 years.
