Get Involved

Intercultural Ministries exists to reach the different people groups of America with the gospel of Jesus Christ. There are many opportunities for lay workers to help us fulfill our mission.

What can you do:

Pray: Order our free Prayer Guide.
Give:

Make an online financial contribution on our secure server. Financial resources fuel the fire of evangelism.

Volunteer:

There are many opportunities for you to get involved (sidewalk Sunday school, VBS, ministry outreach, etc.) through short-term ministry. Contact the District U.S. Missions director of the state or area where you wish to minister or email Intercultural Ministries at U.S. Missions.

Promote:

Promote Intercultural Ministries and U.S. Missions in your church by scheduling services with our missionaries.

Become a Missionary Associate:

Intercultural Ministries missionary associates are volunteers, 18 years of age or older, who offer their services and talents in a specific field of ministry for a 1-2 year period. They assist U.S. missionaries serving on the field as:

* Accountants * Artists/Photographers * Cooks * Doctors/Nurses * Music Directors * Carpenters * Youth Work * Radio/TV Techs *  School Teachers * Secretaries/Clerks * Writers * Inner City Street Ministry * and whatever other abilities and interests they may have that meets a specific need of a missionary and ministry.

Each associate is responsible for raising his/her own monthly support. Support comes from the applicant's home church, family, friends, and personal funds. They are not permitted to itinerate from church to church as career missionaries do. Faith promise forms are made available to each Intercultural missionary associate at the point of approval. An account number is assigned to each person after the U.S. Missions Committee gives approval. Churches receive World Ministries credit, and individuals receive tax-deductible receipts for all support contributions. All funds for missionary associates must be processed through their assigned accounts.
