Discovery Rangers is a fun and exciting program for boys
in third-, fourth-, and fifth-grade. Not only does the
boy get to discover great indoor and outdoor activities,
he will get to make many new friends. Being a Discovery
Ranger is another step toward growing into a man of God
in four ways:
 |
Physically: Their
bodies will grow strong through proper exercise and
diet. |
 |
Spiritually: Their
spirits will grow strong through prayer, Bible study
and witnessing. |
 |
Mentally: Their
minds will grow strong by reading, studying, and
memorizing Scripture passages. |
 |
Socially: Their
relationships with people will grow strong by learning
how to treat them. |
If the boy has promoted from Ranger
Kids into Discovery
Rangers, he should have completed the necessary recruit
requirements as one of his last tasks as a Ranger Kid.
The boy's Discovery Rangers records or Handbook will contain
the information verifying that he has completed the recruit
requirements.
If the boy is joining Royal Rangers for
the first time as a Discovery Ranger, he will need to complete
