The Children’s Ministries Agency and Gospel Publishing House are teaming up for the afternoon “SPIN” sessions.These sessions are rotation-based and will take the kids through a series of interactive, character-building activities each afternoon.

Each child who registers for SPIN will receive three T-Shirts. Each day your child will wear a different color shirt that has been assigned for that day (Wednesday, Thursday and Friday). These three T-Shirts will only be available for children who register for SPIN. Different colored T-Shirts will be available at the CMA Booth in the exhibit hall area for individual purchase if your child is not registered for SPIN.

During the Tuesday through Friday evening “SNAP,” two different auditoriums will host the two different services: one service for Kindergarten-3rd grade and another service for grades 4-6. Ventriloquist and lower-elementary speaker Robin Garvin brings a contagious enthusiasm for children with her team of puppets. Upper-elementary speakers, Steve & Sandra Hogue bring over 12 years of ministry experience to the stage, combined with multi-media presentations and a passion for kids.

The Late Nite Party is also new to Kids Council 2009! The party will be held on Wednesday night from 9:00 p.m. until 11:00 p.m. The cost is only $25, and we’ll provide all of the entertainment, which includes:  A 60th birthday celebration for Buddy Barrel, a concert by recording artist Mission Six  (http://www.missionsixband.com), and so much more. The Late Nite Party coincides with the various General Council receptions, giving parents an opportunity to attend alone.

The early childhood area will consist of three rooms, 0-12 months (Rm. 1), 13-24 months (Rm. 2) and 3-4 year olds (Rm. 3), and will be staffed with a ratio of three volunteers per every 10 children. Jean Thomason, or Miss Pattycake as she is better known, will minister nightly to your 3-4 year olds. She will have your children jumping, dancing, shouting and singing praises while engaging them in activities and games.

These rooms will be staffed by screened, professionally trained nursery volunteers. The early childhood area is FREE of charge, however, availability IS limited and will be on a first come, first served basis. When each room has reached its capacity, the rooms will be closed for the remainder of the evening.

Please note that this is not a registration nor does it confirm a spot in the Early Childhood area. This is just an RSVP and will simply help us plan and secure ample staff for this service.

We will have a Special Needs Room available during the Kids Council activities for children with special needs ages 5-years to 6th grade.
