Description:
The Reformation is the movement that restored a large measure of biblical Christianity and started the Protestant church — named so because those involved "protested" the corrupt state of much of the church at the time. The Reformation’s beginning is typically dated at October 31, 1517, the day Martin Luther nailed his now-famous 95 theses to the door of the Castle Church in Wittenberg, Germany. As Reformation Day approaches, let’s reflect on the rich heritage of the evangelical church – and be grateful.
