Bible Sunday to Launch Production of Three Fire Bibles

Thu, 11 Dec 2014 - 1:00 PM CST

All Bible Sunday offerings on December 14 will be designated to help launch the production of the Fire Bible, a Pentecostal study Bible, in three languages: Croatian (Croatia), Ilocano (Republic of the Philippines), and Punjabi (used in the two least-reached countries of Southern Asia).

Every year on the second Sunday in December, churches and individuals across the nation join the Assemblies of God Bible Alliance in marking Bible Sunday. Churches designate offerings to help Bible Alliance provide the Fire Bible for pastors and lay leaders overseas.

Jeffrey Dove, director of Bible Alliance and Life Publishers, says since 2000, Bible Sunday offerings have helped make 45 Fire Bible editions available in 40 languages.

On December 14 and throughout 2015, AG Bible Alliance will give special emphasis to the funding and production of the Croatian, Ilocano and Punjabi Fire Bibles, while continuing progress on 31 more Fire Bible editions in various stages of production.
