CORBETT'S COMMUNIQUE........WESTLAKE ASSEMBLY OF GOD -- CAPETOWN, SOUTH AFRICA.........Westlake IAG church has been completed and it looks wonderful! We had the tabernacle structure erected and the congregation finished it with some amazing miracles for the Lord. We will share these miraculous provisions from God. A man came walking down the street as Tilly (one of the church founding members) was standing outside the church. The man walked up to her and told Tilly, “I feel that the Lord wants me to give your church some money.” He used to attend an Assemblies of God church. He had sold his house and had forgotten his promise to Tilly. Two years went by and God would not let him forget his pledge and he felt so miserable about it that he told his wife to go check on Westlake A/G and see if they needed anything, and then take the money to them. He had a plan, a type of fleece before the Lord. He asked his wife to drive by the pastors home of the Constantia A/G. The Constantia A/G pastor and congregation had started the street ministry that birthed the Westlake church and they had been helping also with some of the construction of the Westlake church. The donor told his wife, “If the pastor walks out the front door of his house as you drive by, then we must not ONLY give $3,000 but we must increase it to approx $3,800. As his wife approached the pastors house, the pastor just happened to be coming out the front door to get into his car. So they gave the increased amount as the Lord had led them to do!!! Isn’t our God a God of compassionate miracles ???........BOROKALALO INTERNATIONAL ASSEMBLY OF GOD -- NORTHWEST PROVINCE, SOUTH AFRICA........ This IAG church in Borokalalo was built from a tabernacle structure that we had erected. The pastor and congregation have finished the structure, walls, windows, floor and doors. They are to be commended for their diligence and hard work in finishing the church........ FURLOUGH 2006 - 2007........In March we arrived in the states to begin our furlough. We are looking forward to seeing our pastor friends and the congregations that have faithfully supported us in prayer and finances. We would love to have some fellowship with you!........
