We have all felt the pain that words can bring. Even so, at some point in life, we were probably the ones causing the pain in others because of some careless word or action. Words have tremendous power and can have negative effects if we don't choose them wisely. In this edition of ONCOURSE Unboxed, we'll take a closer look at "taming the tongue." Whether it involves profanity, insults, gossiping or slander, it's important that we address this issue with students and communicate the vast influence that our words have on others.
