BEHIND THE SONGS WITH HEARTS OF SAINTS Week 4Wed, 04 Nov 2009 - 10:15 AM CST
Craig Felker, frontman for new Revolution Art signing Hearts of Saints, shares the inspiration behind "Angel's Light" from the band's forthcoming self-titled debut. To hear the story in its entirety, visit: youtube.com/heartsofsaints. "'Angel's Light' was written after watching Larry King one night and listening to his guest describe an out-of-body experience he claimed to have. The guest talked about seeing orbs of light and described them as angels. I can't speak for the legitimacy of the story, but it triggered a thought in my head/heart ... one day we will worship our Father amongst the angels (in their light). We took this idea to Michael Farren (Pocket Full of Rocks) and he helped to co-write some of the most inspiring and worshipful lyrics on the album. Ultimately, 'Angel's Light' is about being in God's presence and desiring for His glory, His light, to cover us." --- Craig Felker Access an audio stream of "Angel's Light" at myspace.com/heartsofsaints.
