ASSEMBLIES OF GOD
The 48th General Council of the Assemblies of God climaxed Friday night with Missionary Evangelist Stephen Hill addressing a combined session of the Council and the National Youth Congress.
Friday's business focused on 18 resolutions presented to the Council for consideration. Elections for the nonresident executive presbyters also continued.
During the Thursday morning business session of the General Council, General Superintendent Thomas Trask conferred upon two laymen-David Cribbs and Barry Meguiar-the General Superintendent's Medal of Honor.
