Cornerstone Assembly of God

Cornerstone Church was birthed in 2002 from the merger of two Assembly of God churches, Cottage Hills and Bethalto Assemblies of God. Both Cottage Hills and Bethalto were established congregations that felt lead by God to be joined together as a new church, dedicated to serving the entire Riverbend area. Recently, God spoke to the leadership of Cornerstone about taking another step of faith, and in August 2010, Cornerstone Church welcomed a second site into the family, Cornerstone Godfrey, formerly North Side Assembly of God. This was the first step in creating the Cornerstone Network of Churches. Since the addition of our Godfrey Campus, we have started a Deaf Church and launched a new campus in Columbia, IL. Cornerstone Church is a member of the Assembly of God and serves our district and its churches proudly. Cornerstone is also a proud member of the River Bend-area community and is continually seeking new ways to be the best neighbor possible. We at Cornerstone Church have an incredibly story, and it is not finished. God is still working in our congregation, taking us new places and doing new, incredible things in our lives. Our story is still being written, and we would love for you to join us in it.
